If you’re fond of viewing images of pretty young things in their natural state, but eschew the artificiality and abstractness of nude art or the emptiness of pornographic images, then check out DOMAI.

DOMAI is founded by certified Dirty Old Man (capitalized) and photographer Eolake Stobblehouse, who believes that “a true DOM knows that the enjoyment of beauty is a thing onto itself, and does not necessarily have to be followed or supported by any other action. He is made happy by the world, he knows that he really owns it without having to prove it, and he is not ashamed by his happiness and enjoyment.”

DOMAI, hence, espouses beauty in its natural form. No strings attached.

The DOMAI Style:

... traditionally we have had the choice between two forms of nude art, one of which sacrificed the model and her beauty for sex, and the other which sacrificed the model and her beauty for Art. None of these things are necessarily wrong, but they are not the only options.

[The DOMAI] kind of nude art is special in that the primary objective is to celebrate and forward the model and her beauty.

...

The upshot of all this is that Simple Nudes or “DOMAI style” is nude art (usually photographic) which focuses on the beauty of the model, and where the more esoteric artistic qualities of the picture are secondary, and where any sexuality is also secondary. We will here skip the huge and tangled argument of whether it is possible for nude art to be completely asexual. Probably it simply depends on what is put into it by the viewer (and the artist). This is a fascinating question, but not really essential, when we establish that whether sexuality is there or not, it is secondary. Beauty is primary.

It may be unfair to classify sites like DOMAI as porn or even soft-porn, perhaps because of the intent, the medium, and even the content. It’s not artsy-fartsy like those nudes on canvas, which focus only on the technique and the artist. But it’s not smut either, in that its main purpose is not to tittilate.

The Dirty Old Men’s Association International is for unabashed lovers of beauty. DOMAI is an independent society for men (or indeed women) who have the guts to stand forth and say to the world: “I am a Dirty Old Man, and I’m proud of it”.
